Job Description:

QA Specialist working on a new client Case Management Application. Candidate must have the skill set to lead and manage testing as well as perform the actual testing themselves from all aspects.

10+ testing full cycles application development testing (creating test plans, executing test plans, writing test scripts)
5+ years of experience testing MS Dynamics
8+ years managing full-cycle testing in Sharepoint
Experience testing Case management applications
Experience and willingness to lead and complete testing.


Experience automating test scripts (knowledge of HTML, Javascript, Webservices VBScript
1-2 years of experience testing MS Dynamics 365 (specifically that platform)

The Ontario Land Tribunal requires a Systems Testing/Quality Assurance Analyst L3 with 10+ years of experience for testing of a Case Management System solutions:

• Develop test cases and execute test cases Develop test cases and execute test cases
• Execution of test efforts for MS Dynamics 365, including the execution of systems integration tests, specialized test and user acceptance testing
• Manage defect tracking, reports defects to PM and coordinates issue resolution
• Participate in the selection of testing tools and identification of resources required for testing
• Execute the defect tracking process, communicate defects to PM & relevant stakeholders and coordinate issue/defect resolution
• Create use cases and test cases for the application

Note on Assignment Type: This position is currently listed as “Onsite”; however, the consultant will be remote due to COVID-19 related Work from Home (WFH) direction. Once the I&IT cluster staff are required to return to the office, the resource under this request will be required to work onsite as well


  • Provides advice on the testing strategy and plan, the selection of testing tools, and the identification of resources required for testing
  • Analyze product requirements and design for completeness and testability
  • Create test plans and strategies, test scenarios/cases and test data
  • Execute testing efforts for systems in GUI and non-GUI environments, including the execution of functional, systems integration, regression, performance and user acceptance testing.

MUST Haves

Does the candidate have 5+ years of experience in leading and managing testing for the delivery of an IT solution including, the development of test plans, test cases and automated test scripts
Does the candidate have experience testing for an enterprise application through the entire development life cycle right through UAT and production readiness?

Technical Skills = 25%

Hands on experiences with technologies such as MS Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Knowledge and experience in the use of automated test tools and version control systems on one or more platforms
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle

Quality Assurance = 25%
5+ years of demonstrated experience in defect tracking using a collaborative tool to manage defects and change requests and to communicate the status of these to all project participants.
Demonstrated experience in developing test plans, test scripts and test data; documenting software defects and tracking resolutions.
Experience with User Acceptance Testing and leading initial UAT sessions.

Business Skills = 15%

Demonstrated experience working with clients and technical teams to ensure effective resolution of defects and management of change requests are complete
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; organizational, creativity and perseverance skills; strong verbal and written communication skills

Public Sector Experience = 5%
Previous experience working in Government or Public Sector organizations
